Dr. Babb graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. After graduating she complted a small animal emergency and specialty internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas. She then returned home to Virginia where she worked in emergency medicine for 7 years before joining the team at Swift Creek. Her interests in include emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and transfusion medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Babb enjoys keeping active outdoors, crafting with glass, and landscaping. She shares her home with her partner Kyle, daughter, a hound named Gus, and Great Dane named Winnie, and a cat named Sassy McFatty Pants. Dr. Babb is available at Swift Creek Animal Hospital Tuesday thru Friday and Saturdays on a rotating basis.
