Routine Care and Preventive Health

Pets need preventive medical care to lead healthy lives, just like people do. In general, your dog or cat should see his veterinary doctor once per year for a regular checkup and any needed vaccinations.

Younger animals need more frequent visits to the vet, to receive the proper care that is required for younger animals. Some vaccines need to be administered in a series of multiple doses, over a number of weeks or months. In addition, more frequent visits during the first months of life allow us to monitor your pet's growth and better prevent future problems with early detection.
